• Purchase goods, material, services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery target
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing process and activities.
• Develop, lead, and executes purchasing strategies.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Ensure negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
• Develop, and improve purchasing team member to achieve high level as buyer functions.
•  Perform cost and scenario analysis, also bench marking.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• To conduct additional / specials task from Superior
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in line with the HSE Policy and strategic objectives.
• Identify hazards and institute measures to reduce risk to a level as a low as reasonably practicable.

Requirement

• Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic engineering or equivalent
• Having a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in related functions for a project-based company
• A team player in a dynamic environment within a matrix organization
• Having knowledge of pump and valve will be an advantage
• Having a positive attitude, open-mindedness, motivated and willingness to learn
• Fluent in English both oral and written
