Today, Mewah’s products are marketed to more than 100 countries and become one of the prominent edible oils and fats businesses with total refining capacity in excess of 3.5 million MT annually.

We are looking for a qualified Utility Engineer to support our Plant in Dumai, Riau.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, plan, and implement utility systems that meet the organization's needs.
• Evaluating existing systems for improvements and upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve utility system malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.
• Maintain accurate records, drawings, and documentation related to utility systems.
• Train and educate staff on utility system safety, operation, and emergency procedures.
• Explore and implement sustainable practices and technologies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in utility engineering, preferably in the palm oil industry or a similar industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, including boilers, power generation, water treatment, and waste management.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management and budgeting abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
