Job opening for Able Commodities Indonesia, part of Mewah Group

Your responsibility is  to assist Shipping Manager in  oversee the operational functions of the Shipping Dept; plan, propose and/or implement necessary improvements which would enhance and/or preserve shipping-logistic operations systems' integrity and security, includes.

1.Monitor and execute  trade order processing, export shipment documentation, import & Export shipment activities.

2.Ensure that departmental procedures and / or working instructions are being adhered / complied to via

• reviewing and recommending changes to policies and procedures if/where deemed necessary.
• Initiation of specific on-the-job-training and mentoring system
• coaching, guiding, and directing staff in daily operation activities.
• participate in internal / external audit.
• ensure all audit requirements are being fulfilled / complied to

3.Ensure that customers’ requests within contractual scope are met consistently throughout the year and review customer satisfaction survey feedback.

4.Propose and/or implement necessary improvements which would enhance and/or preserve shipping-logistic operations systems' integrity and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from all majors
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in import export shipping , preferably in the palm oil industry.
• Strong knowledge of Bonded zone, Shipping, local regulations, and international trade laws
• Honest, hardworking, responsible
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English
