Chemical Laboratory Supervisor

For Agrochemical manufacturing company

Work location: Cikarang

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.     Quality Control (QC)

-       Able to operate laboratory analytical equipments such as GC, HPLC, Spectrophotometer, Particle size analyzer etc

-       Able to prepare samples for analysis of incoming raw material dan finished goods

-       Able to develop analysis methods for all raw materials and finished goods

-       Ensure all raw materials and finished products are tested as per the set specifications

-       Ensure packaging materials produced and procured are as per the set specifications before it is used in the final production

-       Carry out in-process Quality Control at the production site to ensure the production is carried out as per company SOP

2.     Research & Development (R&D)

-       Able to carry out R&D functions as per company requirement

-       Able to develop formula for new products

-       Able to improve formula for existing products

-       Able to conduct stability trials to determine stability of a particular formula

-       Able to develop synthesis methods based on data research for producing desired chemicals/ active ingredients

3.     Waste water treatment

-       Regular analysis of waste water critical parameters to ensure specifications and government regulations are fulfiled

4.     Utility

-       Ensure water quality used for production and utilities meets specification

5.     Data preparation

-       Prepare Certificate of Analysis for all raw materials and finished products

-       Prepare Specifications for all raw materials and finished products

-       Prepare MSDS for all raw materials and finished products

-       Prepare technical data required by regulatory team for compliance with government regulations and licensing

6.    Administrative

-       Prepare documentation as per company SOP

-       Manage laboratory staff

-       Maintain clean working environment in the laboratory

-       Maintain all laboratory analytical equipments in good condition

-       Organise retained samples for all raw materials and finished products for future reference

Qualification:

-       Min. Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or equivalent

-       Min 10 years experience practising the same role in agrochemical industry

-       Good Leadership and Team building skills

-       Good analysis and problem solving skills

-       Very high Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian

-       Willing to travel (domestic and international) as per work requirements

-       Excellent health condition

-       Willing to work in night shift as per company requirements
