Responsibilities:

• Responsible for procedures, standards, safe work practices development based on relevant government regulations, industry best practices, national/international standards
• Design and conduct inhouse HSE related trainings (including development of training modules)
• Act as catalyst for building HSE culture within organisation

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Occupational Health and Safety
• Minimum 5 year' experience HSE system implementation and development
• Strong HSE mindset with ability to understand and recite relevant standards
• Professionally certified in Occupational Health and Safety
• Familiar with auditing process
• Certified as trainer (BNSP certification)
• Capable of developing training modules and manage inhouse trainings
• Understand industry best practices in HSE, particularly Petrochemical/Oil & Gas industry
• Capable of developing HSE standards and procedures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Structured work and enjoy working with plans and planning
• A highly motivated self-starter (must be capable of working unsupervised and performing at a high level in a safety critical role
• Process-based and analytical thinking (PDCA cycle)
