Lowongan Geotech Engineer di PT Lombok Torok Developments

Samara Lombok is seeking out a person who will manage the Geotech Engineer to join our growing team based in the South of Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat. As a Geotech Engineer, you are responsible for exploring and surveying the construction site thoroughly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and mitigate the risk of geological risks and ensure any factors affecting engineering works are identified and managed.
• Advise on procedures required and the suitability of construction materials.
• Study geological maps and aerial photographs to advise on-site solutions.
• Assist with the design of built structures, using specialized computer software or calculations.
• Supervise ground investigations and budgets.
• Preserve and protect the physical environment and maintain site safety standards.
• Analyze site and design for environmentally sensitive developments, such as landfill and exposed slopes.
• Analyze the ground stress which includes capacity and stress levels.
• Advise necessary changes in the project as and when required.
• Provide direction to the technical team in field inspection activities.
• Develop design drawings and specifications for construction projects.
• Solve technical issues as they arise, such as unexpected structures at drill sites
• Monitor conditions during and after construction to make sure structures are stable in the short and long term.

  Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Geologist, Environment Engineer, mining, or a similar position.
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of local environmental regulations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable working in the field.
• Strong teamwork skills.
