The CHPP Maintenance Supervisor (Shifter) is a front line role in the Fixed Plant Maintenance Management Team reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Section Head. This role is responsible for maintaining the CHPP fixed plant and auxiliary equipment and facilities at Lampunut in high reliability and serviceable condition to meet all operational requirements with difficult logistics, whilst optimizing the cost. This role, together with the other supervisory positions within the Fixed Plant Maintenance Department, will directly be responsible for elements of the production chain critical to positive business outcomes for the organization. Sophisticated maintenance planning and execution will be required to ensure sufficient and reliable production on a Shift basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Manage the crew (Shifter) of CHPP Maintenance team.
2. Implement the Fixed Plant Maintenance Management Program for Lampunut CHPP.
3. Ensure the good quality of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and JSAs implementation for the CHPP Maintenance team.
4. Coordinate with the CHPP Operation Supervisors and other Section Heads to ensure that CHPP maintenance work is carried out with due consideration for operational needs.
5. Liaise with the Technical Maintenance Section in the Fixed Plant Maintenance Department to develop good implementation of maintenance activity plans and reports.
6. Provide guidance to the Maintenance Planning group as to the appropriate level of spare & consumable inventory required to ensure the quality of maintenance activity implementation.
7. Participate in the cost control and improvement programs.

Work Challenges:

1. Remote working area, difficult logistics.
2. Extreme weather condition on site.
3. Sourcing of fully trained labor which may be difficult initially.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of Mechanical / electrical / process engineering or equivalent
2. Experience in a fixed plant maintenance position with at least 7-year experience in a maintenance supervisory position for or at least 10-year experience in a fixed plant maintenance supervisory position.
3. Has an active POP Certification
4. Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment within a workplace.
5. Knowledge of fixed plant utilized for bulk materials handling and familiar with port business process.
6. Knowledge of Maintenance Contract Administration
