Lead and manage the Quality functions in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled team on all quality aspects of QA/QC to achieve Company objectives through achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) target of keeping the required quality, executes with cost-efficient manner and achieves on-time delivery as agreed with Customer.

Manage the team on technical best practices and establish standard operation procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the quality team. Implement continual improvement on all aspects of quality system including working practices and processes.

Promotes ethical business practices and compliance to the highest standards also a culture for integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the QA/QC team for doing their tasks and when the team require directions.
• Act as Quality Management Representative of the Company. Any matter related to this function, to report directly to the President Director.
• Manages and ensures that proper Quality Management System is developed (such as : ISO 9001 and its related procedures), implemented and measured across the Company to meet Customer and company requirements;
• Manage the audit and follow up for improvement; maintain QMS qualification of the Company.
• Manages and ensures that Welding Engineering function is operated efficiently in an effective system, include all welding knowhow of the Company operation is up to date.
• Represent the Company in case of Client/Owner’s visit(s) for project quality inspection according to the contract’s Quality Plan and/or ITP, Client’s quality assessment visit(s) and act as knowhow of WBI quality system.
• Ensure the update of all the required standard operating procedures that also includes NDT procedures, standard ITP and Quality Plan, standard Weld Map, Safety procedures, update of all permits related to environmental usage for our industry
• Ensure the validation of all calibrated measuring devices in well maintained.
• Assists Procurement in implementing Supplier Qualification program to assess all selected WBI suppliers periodically as planned by Procurement.
• Supports production process as guided by production order on each related job operation until the finish product completed on the final inspection and pre-shipment delivery inspection to Customer.
• Supports Logistic during material receiving inspection process.
• Maintain proper communication with Engineering to discuss any related Engineering matters including drawings, nonconformance resolution process when issuing NCR.
• Supports Bridge Services Department for any quality escapees on site including as necessary sending quality inspector to project site.
• Manage Quality system data storage in a structured order to ease the reference process in supporting problem solving in timely manner and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.
• Develop, implement and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
• Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of it, and reporting.

Job Qualifications

• Ideally a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• A minimum 10 years working experience in steel structure manufacturing industries or relevant industries
• Requires tact and organizational ability to coordinate the operational issues with numerous functional department
• Requires the initiative/intuition to analyze feedback information from people and systems, anticipates potential obstacles to success and implement preventive measures or corrective action on a timely basis.
• Require strong interpersonal skills to facilitate team effort and problem solving techniques and also to interact with the project stakeholders at different level to resolve issues with no harms to the project and company
• Excellent communication skills in English (Verbal and Written) and Bahasa Indonesia
• Good knowledge and experience with Total Productive Maintenance method
• Computer literacy using Microsoft Window Software (such as MS-Office)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent in ISO 9001, ISO/OHSAS 18001, SMK3, ISO 14001, ABMS (Anti Bribery Management System)
• Excellent team work and people skills
• Strong character with the ability to professionally convey and influence technical decisions of the top management
• Have the ability to evaluate sufficiency and validity of information and act according without being remind to do so, also in this manner always provide management with useful information.
• Ability to discuss quality, environmental & health safety matters at the highest levels with management, production, suppliers and subcontractors.
