Key responsibilities

• Manage project delivery processes and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Consult with clients to understand their requirements and scope of work.
• Lead the development of electrical design and project documentation.
• Provide ongoing support to customers and foster a HSEQ centric culture within the company.
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD electrical
• Experience with PowerCAD, PTW, ETAP, or similar electrical installation design software
• Knowledge of Australian and IEC Electrical Standards (such as AS3000, AS2067, IEC 60364, IEC 61936, AS/IEC 61439, and IEC 62271)
• Experience in modeling power systems for HV, LV, high current DC systems, and BESS systems
• Experience in the design of AC/DC power distribution, logic circuits, equipment controls, sensor interfaces, motion control, pneumatics control, and systems integration is a plus.
• Should have extensive experience in creating systems that meet safety expectations as determined by electric-related CE directives (Low Voltage, EMC, and ROHS). Knowledge of IEC 60204-1, IEC 60204-33, and IEC 61439 is highly appreciated. Knowledge of SEMI S2, S8, S22 guidelines, VDE, NFPA 79, NFPA 70, and UL508A is a plus.
• A broad based background and knowledge in the analysis, design, and debugging of complex electrical and electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in the water industry, mining, or industrial manufacturing from a contractor's perspective is desirable.
• Should possess a recognized degree in Electrical Engineering and have practical experience with electrical installations and design software.
• A broad based background and knowledge in the analysis, design, and debugging of complex electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to work constructively with a diverse group of people, including global manufacturing engineering personnel, to achieve milestones established on complex internal and external projects.
• Experienced with EtherCAT, Ethernet, DeviceNet, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with modularizing semiconductor equipment designs for offline assembly.
• Should be very experienced using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project; Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP); and SPAC Automation. IGE-XAO Electrical is a plus.
• Should have the ability to read and understand documented software code and to work in close cooperation with software engineers to implement, test, and troubleshoot complex automation functions.
