• Responsible for developing and delivering a coordinated communications strategy and associated content across external channels to maintain, promote and protect the company's reputation.
• The ability to handle crises is crucial for this role to communicate effectively with the public.
• Design, develop, and implement a communication strategy according to the company, including providing direction and support necessary in facilitating the flow of internal communication in the company as well as external communication with all stakeholders involved
• Build and maintain good relations with the media

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a relevant field.
• Experience developing overall strategy for corporate communications, public relations and social media teams.
• At least 10 years of experience in external communication, media relations, or public relations, preferably in the mining or natural resources sector
• Experience in managing communication projects and budgets
• Experience in crisis communication and issues management
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and community relations
