We are searching for an experienced software quality assurance manager, looking for an opportunity to work on cutting-edge software. He will have a strong foundation managing software QA\QC teams, systems and processes, and is seeking a company that puts a high value on the critical contributions quality assurance professionals have on products. He will take the driving seat of an existing team to have immediate impact continuing our company-wide dedication to quality. He will also be responsible for the development of overall test strategies and the creation of appropriate test methods, both manual and automated. He will manage and mentor a team of testers onsite, and take a hands-on approach in overseeing the development, monitoring, and execution of test plans and all reporting on test results.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• To manage, mentor, grow, and coach a team of QA members.
• To ensure delivery of quality products.
• To review, evaluate, plan, and improve existing and future QA\QC testing environment, infrastructure, tools, processes, methodologies, and resources.
• To develop, implement, and improve QA best practices within the team.
• To use established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of work processes and procedures and familiarity with related software.
• To participate in analyzing changes and new features to the product, recommending appropriate test strategies.
• To maintain in-depth knowledge of computer software technology and other related areas.
• To evaluate and benchmark software performance and to provide best recommendations for performance improvements.
• To conduct unit, regression, user interface, functional, integration and load testing throughout the SDLC phases.
• To evaluate and evangelize testing strategies (including TDD, test-first programming, and acceptance testing).
• To work with Software Development and Telco Software to develop innovative testing solutions that meet the quality needs of our customers. These will include functionality, performance scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and adherence to testing goals, and principles that are compatible with release timeline targets.
• To work closely with the development team in following coding standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in a management and/or a lead role in software development and QA, specifically with a high functioning QA team.
• 5+ years of experience in a software development and testing function.
• Experience managing the quality of complex software products.
• 10+ years in requirements analysis, test planning, unit and integrated test case creation, test data preparation, and test execution reporting for scalable, high-volume automated regression harnesses.
• Broad experience and in-depth knowledge in different operating systems, preferably in Linux variants, and in QA automation and testing in Java environment, in Object Oriented Programming in Java.
• Excellent experience using SQL Server or comparable database; proficient in SQL languages, with the ability to read and write SQL queries.
• Excellent experience of continuous integration test environments and automation frameworks, specifically Selenium, Selenium Grid, Eclipse, others an advantage.
• Experience in code version control, e.g. GitLab.
• Excellent understanding of QA/QC Methodologies and best practices.
