Key Responsibilities

• Research and support the development of feasibility studies for new project activities
• Assist in the development of project documentation including report writing and emission reduction calculations
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of carbon projects
• Analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related project
• Undertake field visits/surveys/audits and other consultancy tasks as appropriate
• Keep up to date with developments in the Nature-based Solutions
• Assist with developing marketing, collaboration, and/or partnership materials for the projects

Requirements – Essential

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree (majoring in Forestry, Environmental Science, Biology, and other relevant fields)
• At least having 1 year of working experience in the related field (academic and/or professional experience) in developing Nature-based Projects (including but not limited to Social & Biodiversity Surveys, Carbon Accounting, Sustainable Development, and Climate Policy)
• Knowledge and use of GIS are is preferable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Numerate with excellent analytical and research skills
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work as a team player, but also to work alone and manage own workload as required

Requirements – Desirable

• Post-graduate qualification in environmental management, sustainable development or similar
• Understanding of Social and/or Environment Assessments, High Conservation Values and/or High Carbon Stocks Surveys, Ecosystem Services Study
• Knowledge of carbon project methodologies including ICER, Gold Standard, VCS, Plan Vivo and CDM
• Experience working in environment/development consultancy
• Experience communicating with Government of Indonesia in Central and Local level
