NIRAS is supporting a 4-years program of the EU-ASEAN Green Initiative to enhance the EU-ASEAN partnership and reduce negative environmental impacts, as well as climate-related and disaster risks covering key areas of the European Green Deal.

The Role

The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new project personnel/consultants and analyzing candidates who would be best suited to those positions. She/He will also support the Project Manager and Team Leader in contract management, this include mobilization, monitoring timesheet and required reports from each hired individual.

Your tasks:

  • Assist the Project Team Leader and Project Manager in processing job applications and respond to queries
  • Organize interview schedules as required
  • Interviewing and screening applicants to determine whether they are qualified for a position.
  • Resolving applicants’ concerns or issues by providing them with information about the hiring process or referring them to someone else who can help them.
  • Conducting reference checks on candidates to ensure that they have good work ethics and experience for the job
  • Participating in hiring decisions with the Project Team Leader and/or Project Manager or NIRAS Indonesia HR Manager
  • Maintaining contact with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure that each step is completed on schedule
  • Use internal and external systems to advertise job vacancies as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with employment and data protection-related legal requirements
  • Mobilizations – onboarding successful applicants.

To qualify as our Recruiter, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources and organizational behaviour.
  • Minimal 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive demands and inquiries.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
  • Must be willing and able to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
