Responsibilities:

•  Implementing enterprise infrastructure GIS platform solutions.
• Troubleshoots issues with minimal guidance, identifies bottlenecks in existing data workflows and provides solutions for a scalable, defect-free application.
• Provides performance tuning insight to project team and creates reusable objects and templates.
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
• Undertake of analytical modeling, data scientist methodology and application.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Combine models through ensemble modeling.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Have the ability to articulate what is possible using data spatial data and technology
• Have a passion for geospatial technologies and an interest in keeping up with new developments
• As a Gis Data Spatial engineer, we would expect you to have a solid understanding of the following:
• Geospatial technologies and toolsets in an open-source ecosystem, Esri or both
• Web application development process
• Geospatial databases and geospatial SQL applications
• Data transformations, processing, and ETL applications using Python, gdal, PostGIS, etc.
• Data services and geospatial APIs such as REST, WMS, Vector Tiles, WFS, Esri web services, etc.
• Ability to apply geospatial knowledge to solve problems.
• Open-source geospatial tools (preferred) such as QGIS, GDAL/OGR, WMS, WFS, PostGIS, GeoServer,
• Willing to work with external clients, internal clients, and sales team. You will have experience engaging with or working in large corporates or government entities.
