Discova is on the lookout for a passionate, goal driven Business Development Executive to join our global team!

About the Opportunity
As Business Development Executive you will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as your role will seek to garner and meet with potential clients. You will be responsible for researching client business referrals, networks, and web leads, provide prospective customers/clients with all Discova services offered and additional presentations as needed, and work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult them throughout the sales process. If you are energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue, you will be a great fit!
Your main responsibilities are: Â
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients
- Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
About you
The Essentials:
- Minimum two years of related work experience; previous experience in an outbound call centre, inside sales experience, or related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Demonstrated and proven sales results
The Attributes:
- Experience with lead generation and prospect management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
- Able to communicate with top level management professionally and confidently
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
