Qualification:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree or higher, logistics or any related fields.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in related field is required for this position or freight forwarding business
  • Be able to communicate effectively with good command of Bahasa and English.

Responsibilities:

Oversees the entire operations, sales and marketing of Branch Office. Ensures smooth workflow and promote continuous improvement. 

·       Solving day to day problems and prevention of service failures.

·       Attends and replies to operational inquiries by clients, agents and other partners in close coordination with operations team to avoid overlaps.

·       Monitors and ensures that all job files are closed on time.

·       Negotiates and conducts regular review/evaluation of rates from shipping companies and truckers. Establishes good partnership and rapport to all parties concerned.

·       Conducts meetings with sales and operations people on a regular basis or as need arise. This is to review and assess the performance of the staff and the whole department.

·       Monitoring and control of costs of Branch office.

·       Ensures team integrity by effectively managing workloads, motivation and team-building.

·       Identifies training needs of team members under coordination.

·       Represents the company on Sea freight / Air freight operational related meetings which clients, shipping companies.

·       Responsible that Jobs are profitable and reports loss making jobs with reason to MD Indonesia at the end of every month

·       Reviews approval of billings from shipping companies and others operational related billings prior to request for payment by the Sea and Air freight operations staff concerned.

·       Develops products and strategies under guidance and instruction of the Managing Director.

·       Responsible for gross profitability of the entire department.

·       Provision of monthly performance reports to the Managing Director and Managing Director.

·       Drive forward product development with overseas partners, e.g. Sharing of Service Contracts.

·       Responsible for the development of the company’s Project Logistics.

·       Good knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics service.

·       Good interpersonal and communication skill and a team player
