APPLICATION ENGINEER

Job Responsibility:

• To design new system for retrofit/upgrade the Engine and Turbine Control Systems.

• To design new system for retrofit/upgrade the Power Management Systems.

• To perform testing and commissioning.

• To troubleshoot and follow-up on issues reported by customers.

• To perform project management activities and functions in project.

• Scheduling daily, weekly, monthly refers to manpower, time line, and dead line for project and maintenance.

• Developing documents such as elementary diagram, equipment index, wiring diagram, equipment I/O list, connection list, etc.

• To conduct product training and presentation.

• Prepare specifications of the purchase of materials and equipment (Bill of Material), coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation and test activities to ensure compliance with the customer requirement.

• Investigate customer complaint, determine nature and extent of a problem and recommended remedial measure.

• Scheduling daily, weekly, monthly refers to manpower, time line, and dead line for project activities.

• To manage and execute the project to be cost effective, timely delivery, quality standard and meet clients expectation.

Job Requirements:

• Able to Speak and Write in English.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

• Willing to travel within Indonesia and overseas.

• Minimum 2 year experience as application or service Engineer.

• Experiences in design and assembly for retrofit/upgrade Prime Mover Governor Control Systems (Steam Turbine, Reciprocating Engine) and Generator Power Management Systems (Synchronization, Isochronous Load Sharing, Droop, Base load, Breaker Management etc) .

• Good implementing in designed of Prime Mover Governor Control Systems, Power Management Systems and HMI.

• Proficient in handling complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques. 

• Experience in troubleshooting and giving on site and remote technical support for customers. 

• Experience with preparation for project including schedule, materials, tools, documents, administration, resources, etc. 

• Experience with project coordination, management and monitoring. 

• Experience in giving product trainings for customers. 

• Ability to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively. 

• Ability to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
