- Develop and implement an effective compliance program
- Manage and maintain compliance programs to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and best practices
- Establish policies and procedures to develop a culture of compliance and perform ongoing risk assessments for such policies and procedures
- Understand and keep up to date with the firms business, products and the regulatory and commercial environment in which it operates to ensure that appropriate compliance policies, procedures and standards are implemented
- Complies with Government Institution (OJK) and local legal requirements,
- Responsible for overall compliance matters of the company
- Analyzing and impact assessing new regulations
- Coordinate the monitoring of customer data updates and their realization
- Able to identify and flag items non-compliant with regulations.
- Able to stretch to accommodate other functions/responsibilities related to AML department functions
- Carrying out periodic name screening and monitoring activities by establishing and compiling consumer transaction profiles through CDD information/documents obtained by the company and/or through other sources as initial analysis material.
- Analyzing alerts from the APU & PPT Monitoring System
- Prepare and submit reports related to APU & PPT along with their supporting documents to the competent authorities within the period determined by laws and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of the industrys standards and regulations
- Minimum education from bachelor degree in legal or any field.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- Excellent communication skills (Bahasa & English)
- Problem-solving, positive and constructive attitude is a must
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role at a leading fintech or heavy regulated industry
- Passion and strong interest in financial services industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of APU & PPT regulations and have experience handling APU & PPT are preferred.
- A team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
