• Accountable for providing strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the overall mineral resource strategy, including developing and continuously updating resource models and reporting resource estimates in accordance with the global reporting codes and standards
• Responsible for the translation of technical information and strategic intent into strategic business plans
• Ensure the 3D geological block model is developed, maintained, and continuously improved as a result of geological observations, pit face mapping, drilling, and production data inputs
• Compile, sign-off, and report annual resource statements in accordance with the national and global reporting codes and standards
• Interface proactively with the Mine Technical Services and Expertise to proceed with mineral reserve optimization and produce mine plans
• Assist the Exploration Drilling Team with a cost-effective drilling strategy for achieving optimal returns
• Establish and oversee the collection and collation of geological data systems from drilling and sampling in accordance with the global industry standard, including the QAQC data system
• Organize, plan and manage personnel and other departmental resources to meet MRM functions objectives
• Establish and define work procedures and practices to institute acceptable standards of outputs and performance
• Define capital and budgetary requirements and manage the departmental budget for the achievement of mineral resources activities and objectives
• Develop and manage a network of project specialists, technical consultants, and contractors in the mineral resource function

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or MSc Degree in Geology, geostatistics, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of mineral resource management experience
• Minimum of five 12 years experience in a resource geology role preferably in the Nickel laterite mining industry (Preferred Micromine software expert)
• At least 1 year in a similar managerial position including an operating nickel project
• Advanced technical knowledge of mineral resource estimation, geology, and geostatistics
• Knowledge of database systems and QAQC procedures
• Strong background in exploration and/or production geology preferred
• Official resource reporting experience in accordance with the national/global codes/standards
• Mandatory CPI MRE Nickel laterite 
• Registered Competent Person Indonesia (CPI) as defined in KCMI for laterite nickel
