Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management and development of all catering services to contribute to the overall
• UMK business strategy.
• Develop and lead with the implementation of operational plans, through the management
• team on all catering services.
• Control and monitor the financial performance of the business and deliver on pre budgeted
• targets.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with individuals at all levels within the company and our client organisations.
• Implement and maintain Company standards of hygiene compliance, health and safety, security, and take any action as is necessary.

Catering operational duties will include:

• Oversee food and beverage purchasing & stock control
• Oversee pre and post costings
• Monitoring of gross profitability
• Management of operational costs
• Risk Assessment evaluation as required
• Undertake internal auditing as required
• Assist in staff training, recruitment, and induction
• Third party client invoicing
• Daily financial record keeping and communicating with Finance department on audit trail.
• Ensure adherence to all licensing conditions, health & safety regulations including HACCP
• Adopting a practical approach to maintenance and repair, consulting with the Operations
• Manager always.

Requirements:

• Education background min D3 from reputable hotel/hospitality academy
• Proven record within the hospitality industry with minimum 10 years experiences
• Experience of working in in Industrial Catering would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of all licensing conditions, health and safety regulations including HACCP
• Computer literacy
• Able to build effective relationships, internally and externally.
• Holds a record of academic learning relevant to the needs of the position.
