Qualifications:

• Proven working experience in Intel-based Servers and Storage deployment and maintenance for at least 5 years
• Knowledge and hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting and part replacing for Intel-based Servers, especially Dell PowerEdge Servers
• Knowledge and experiences on hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures
• Hardware and OS troubleshooting prowess. Ability to critically analyze a symptom, diagnose a fault, plan and take appropriate action on equipment including Server, Storage and Network devices
• Networking knowledge including being familiar with the TCP/IP v4 and v6 protocol, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP as well as the ability to crimp CAT5e
• Knowledge and experiences in Windows Server 2016 or later
• Knowledge and experiences in VMWare ESXi and VCenter
• Ability to seek solutions to problems using one’s own resource
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including create an activity report for Server installation or maintenance
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing
• Positive attitude, eager to take responsibility for work and shows initiative
• Knowledge and experiences on any Enterprise Storage products are advantages
• Any certifications on Intel-based Server, esp. Dell PowerEdge Servers are advantages
• Knowledge on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x or later is an advantage

Job Descriptions:

-       Designing and deploying Intel-based Servers, including:

o  Site Preparation

o  Equipment delivery

o  Unpack and inspect hardware

o  Move used packaging materials to trash and recycling facility or other designated area within the immediate installation location

o  Rack, mount and position the product & components

o  Install and route power cables

o  Install and route data cables

o  Install and route storage cables

o  Power on equipment

-       Install and configure servers:

o  Confirm server boots, check for error lights and obvious issues

o  Configure Out-of-Band Management:  IPMI (iDRAC / ILO / ILOM / etc.)

o  Update firmware and BIOS

o  Enter the RAID utility and create RAID

o  Create and assign Virtual Disks to servers

o  Assist for OS installation

-       OS Installation:

o  OS Installation for ESXi, Windows Server and RHEL

o  Patching

o  Hostname configuration

-       System Management for Server and Storage (Dell OME, SCG):

o  Topology design

o  Installation

o  Configuration and Discovery

o  Troubleshooting

-       Hardware testing and verification:

o  Capture equipment statistic and configuration report

o  Perform network verification tests (ping, traceroute)

o  Perform storage verification test (SAN Health)

o  Test basic product failover capability (PSU)

o  Verify configuration align with the design

o  Perform initial health check

-       Project documentation

-       Transfer knowledge for daily operation & maintenance

-       Perform Corrective Maintenance:

o  24 x 7 support (on shift basis)

o  Data and Log collection and analysis

o  Troubleshooting

o  Escalating to level-2 support

o  Applying proposed solution

o  Documentation and reporting on each incident

-       Perform Preventive Maintenance:

o  Data and Log collection and analysis

o  System health checking

o  Applying or upgrading necessary Firmware or OS Patch

o  Recommendation to prevent potential hardware failures or other hardware issues

o  Documentation and reporting on each Preventive Maintenance activity

-       Willing to travel and work outside Jabodetabek region, i.e: Surabaya
