The Head of Risk responsibilities include conducting extensive research and assessments to evaluate risk levels and develop contingency plans and solutions that reduce and control risks and liabilities.

The Head of Risk responsibilities include Design, implement, and execute an effective Operational Risk Management program in Risk Strategic & Risk Operation activities.

Directly reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is responsible for:

• Design, implement, and execute an effective Strategic & Operational Risk Management program, and oversee risk mitigation activities;
• Monitor and manage the overall performance of the credit portfolio, including the related risks and other material developments for the credit risk assets;
• Support business program by reviewing and reconciling internal and external risk incidents/loss events to ensure that incidents are addressed in a timely manner
• Develop close partnerships across lines of business and provide value-added collaboration with team leaders to ensure that key risks are properly identified, managed and mitigated
• To lead a team to assure the ensure excellent customer experience alongside with the tech team

Requirements:

• Experience in querying and analysing large datasets on a regular basis to assess scope and impact;
• Strong program and project management skills and ability to independently manage multiple, conflicting priorities and deliver a quality result within tight deadlines;
• Exposure and knowledge of risk management concepts and practices (Risk and Control Self Assessments, Risk Indicators, Risk Events, Issue Management, etc);
• A strong moral compass and a commitment to high ethical standards;
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or a related field or equivalent years of experience;
• 7+ years of work experience in Risk Management, Audit, Legal, Compliance, or Project Management capacity;
• 5+ years of experience on projects within a complex business environment preferred.
