Position Purpose

Assist Bar Manager/ Assistant Bar Manager to manage the bar service within the restaurant, and ensure that customers are served promptly & courteously, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, and at all times in line with hygiene and safety regulations; that all customers who visit or contact the company or use the facilities have their expectations met and exceeded

Job Description :

• Assisting Assistant Bar Manager for the never ending process of;

* Bartenders control

* Scheduling

* Beverage recipes

* Bar requisitions and par stock

* Beverage, wine promotion and up selling beverages

* Beverage cost and bar expenses

• To coordinate the work of the beverage staff in order to achieve a smooth running operation. Striving to achieve excellent standards of service and efficiency.
• To perform any other duties set by company policies, management or his/her direct supervisor which are not included here above.
• To assist Assistant Bar Manager to responsible for the preparation of beverage throughout LYD bali group/responsible for servicing at banquet bar and all outlet bars.
• Make sure that each outlet is properly staffed and equipped to service guest. This included proper supply of glassware, drink lists, paper goods, etc.
• To assist Assistant Bar Mgr to check all bar for cleanliness and orders minor repair work. Keeps aware of the appearance and portions of beverage serviced and constantly checks quality of beverage products.
• Responsible for wine and beverage promotions in absent of Bar Manager
• Helping to plan for banquet bar staff according to function required.
• Helping Assistant Bar Manager for training of staff holding periodic meeting to review procedures. Checks on appearance of staff as to proper uniforms and personal cleanliness.
• To make requisitions, obtain authorization and correct delivery of items needed for his bar operation.
• To be well aware of breakage in service areas, pilferage and keep Bar Manager informed.
• To put forward suggestions of creativity, better performance the achievement of the completion.
• Check mise-en place for service used, sanitary condition within the outlet and neatness & cleanliness of staff.
• Ensure that best services are given to guests and cooperated with other outlets.
• Attend all meetings as requested.
• Aim constantly to increase beverage revenues.
• To perform all duties assigned to, efficiently, technically correct, follow the Management policy, company rules & regulations, orders or superiors, adhere to procedures of the training manual and achieving a high standard leading to total guest satisfaction.

Requirements :

• 3 years of bar supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Stock and financial accuracy and resolution skills.
• Motivational and a passion for developing others.
• Computer and POS proficiency.
• Ability to maintain high standards when working under pressure.
• Understanding of bar equipment, glassware and garnishing.
