1.  Position Objective:

• Achieve all Dept. specific and Autoliv generic targets (Profitability, Company Goals)
• Drive continuous improvement.

2.  Position Scope :

• Report to the Manufacturing Manager
• Satisfy general Supervisor roles and responsibilities.
• Manage day to day Genba activities as well as driving continuous improvement
• Follow and promote all ALVI AID policies and procedures
• Support intra department activities.

3.  Tasks / Responsibilities : (Main Activities)

• Together with the Manufacturing Manager determine short and long term objectives for Department
• Responsible for productivity.
• Responsible for general condition of the Genba (5S compliance)
• Responsible for management response to employee suggestions in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained appropriately and that preventive maintenance is carried out on time.
• Through continuous follow up ensure that policy deployment targets are achieved.
• Satisfy all OPI targets continuously.
• (Ensure the right product at the right quality. delivered on time to the customer (External or Internal)
• Responsible for direct headcount (Both operator and material handler)
• Identify MUDA and eliminate.
• Is responsible to ensure that standardized methods of working planning are implemented.
• Lead continuous improvement activity.
• Responsible for safety and the work environment,
• Participate in the APDS process, represent Manufacturing Dept on new project launch teams.
• Maintain order and ensure discipline to rules, systems and routines.
• Lead and develop all direct reports.
• Support for the implementation of IATF. IS014001 & AS330 Health & Safety Management System in his area of responsibility, include maintaining documentation & record
• Responsible for L2L implementation in Manufacturing Dept.
