We're looking for a friendly, personable Barista PIC to lead and supervise a team of Barista at KWANGYA JAKARTA. The Barista PIC is responsible for assisting the Operational Manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service for both our customers and team members. He/She manages daily operations and maintains quality standards of services, formulates standard operating procedures and training manuals.

Responsibilities

• Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members, including running briefings for the team.
• Organization and management of Barista shifts.
• Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld.
• Assists the Operational Manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
• Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and followed.
• Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses through the Safety team.
• Proactive in solving customer problems and satisfying customers in various situations.
• Provide coaching and training to baristas and lead baristas on performance expectations, including ensuring and developing the team to understand the products and promotions.
• Assists the Operational Manager related to any Café’s report (daily/weekly/monthly sales, inventory, and others).
• Assists administration-related HR matters.
• Stock control and ordering stock.
• Make forecasting order for ingredients and supplies café needed.
• RnD products.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, financial management, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the Retail Industry of specialty coffee experience as a Barista PIC / Barista Supervisor.
• Working knowledge and comfort working with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and general POS system understanding.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced workplace as part of a high-energy, efficient team.
• Work availability during peak hours, such as nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Have previous Barista and leadership work history with skill and knowledge.
• A person with a friendly and pleasant demeanor.
