WordPress developer

Job Overview:

WordPress developers design and implement websites for companies using the WordPress creation tool. They are responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins. Their goal is to create attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
2. Designing and building the website front-end.
3. Creating the website architecture.
4. Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
5. Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
6. Conducting website performance tests & Troubleshooting content issues.
7. Performing administration duties and maintenance of the WordPress environments.
8. Monitoring the performance of the live website.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
3. Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
4. Good knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
5. Good knowledge in PHP language and MySQL Database.
6. Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
7. Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
8. Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
9. Willing to learn new technologies and approaches.
10. Ability to work consistently under pressure.
11. Ability to work efficiently both alone and in a team environment
12. Ability to manage projects
13. Good communication skills.
