Job Responsibilities:

• Develop food menu
• Preparation of food in a timely manner and overseeing kitchen assistants with ingredients preparation and storage
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
• Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
• Train new kitchen staff
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformity with established standards
• Explain and enforce hygiene and food safety regulations and food quality
• Demonstrate and help maintain high levels of services

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of work experience in a restaurants
• Expert in Western (steak, pasta), Chinese, Japanese, Fusion, Indonesian, and others.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to make good food consistently, even in a busy kitchen
• Comfortable working on shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good punctuality and attendance
