Job Description:

• Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
• Maintains records and prepares reports of results of inspections.
• Produces relevant field quality inspection reports and provides quality metrics.
• Evaluates the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and testing results.
• Performs quality inspections on work currently performed or work that has been recently completed utilizing established checklists and other quality-related documents.
• Recommends updates/revisions to policies and procedures based on field observations where procedures may not be followed because they are unclear, incorrect, or non-existent.
• Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
• Provide expert advice to all stakeholders, including contractors, Project Manager, project staff, clients, and donor agencies on electrical engineering related work where required.
• Identifies problems and provides recommendations for solutions and improvements and implements changes as approved.
• Identifies troublesome trends and develops plans designed to resolve problems and prevent reoccurrence.
• Update and maintain project documentation as required for Quality Control, job progress, and customer sign off.
• Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and scope of work reports to be included in facilities construction tender documents.
• Assists in the development, review, and approval of construction plans, including goals and objectives, work breakdown structure, detailed scope descriptions, detailed schedules, risk management approach, milestone descriptions, budgets, and staffing requirements.
