Strategic management functions

• Involved in strategic direction to meet country sales goals
• Develop and implement plans to achieve accelerated growth
• Stay updated on market and relevant technological trends; create plans to effectively navigate those changes
• Have a long term view for market leadership, and be able to balance short term and long term success metrics
• Strategise on market positioning for new brands and products, working with other functions to develop new market entry strategies
• Assess and analyse critical under penetrated markets within Indonesia, and develop strategic growth plans to address

Manage & drive growth

• Lead the team to achieve significant growth in revenue and market share
• Accelerate the adoption of existing products and create innovative operational approaches to introduce new products to the market
• Identify levers for growth, and provide analytical and researched data to support strategies
• Analyse, evaluate & provide solutions to capture opportunities & address complex business challenges

Team Management

• Manage Field Sales & Inside Sales teams to meet monthly and annual sales goals
• Recruit, manage, coach and motivate Sales Leaders to navigate change
• Track, monitor and appraise performances of Sales Leaders
• Implement sales structures which support empowerment, effectiveness and productivity
• Influence and motivate across all levels of the organization

Stakeholder Management

• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Influence, collaborate and build excellent working relationship with senior management levels (e.g. Executives and C-suites), and other functional divisions in Regional and country teams
• Build relationships and engagement with key external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, government and customers
• Be excellent at negotiating and influencing on complex matters (e.g. pricing, branding, product, people)
• Manage sales forecast & performance and report to Managing Director & Executives regularly

Project and Key Initiative Management

• Responsible for planning, overseeing and leading key projects from ideation through to completion
• Lead trials concerning new business initiatives, pilot programs, and regional rollouts
• Evaluate these plans and make recommendation for continuous improvement

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 10 years experience in managing sales team with proven track record in driving accelerated growth
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the strategy or management consulting firm is highly desirable
• Experience in leadership position or Executive role is preferable
• Experience in driving business transformation and change
• Enthusiastic in nature with the ability to coach & motivate a team 
• Must be hands-on and operational
