Requirements:

- 35-40 y.o

- Bachelor Degree from reputable University

- Min 3-5 years in legal & compliance roles, either as in house legal or in legal consultant.

- Excellent results in your degree qualification

- Proven experience in leadership and team management skills and handle complex concepts (problem solving drive)

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Mandarin speaking is an advantage 

- Possess strong knowledge in regulations relating to the business such as marine regulations, international maritime law, etc)

Job Scope:

• Being the key point of contact and handling request for legal consultations and to perform research on the subject matter relating to legal matters, compliance to law and regulations, news and articles on legal cases

• Reviewing engagement terms in the client contracts, provide advice and escalating the identified issues to clients for resolution and make the necessary action plan relating to legal matters

• Assist in investigating incident reports (i.e. confidentiality and ethics compliance incidents), including legal matters and making necessary coordination with the relevant parties to be reported to RRL

• Review agreement and provide legal advice for internal purposes
