In this role, you will act as a bridge between domain/function and data scientists. Actively participating in the analysis of domain problems/needs and seeking suitable digitalization/ AI solutions.

In your new role you will:

• Gather and translate requirements for functional solutions into clear AI scope and objectives.
• Develop and evaluate algorithms according to the expected problem solution.
• Harmonize business process/work method to enable analytics/ AI solutions into implementation.
• Prove concepts, prototypes, and implementations, mainly pertaining to the solutions and services in Business Analytics encompassing Computer Vision; Natural Language Processing; Reinforcement Learning; Machine learning & Deep Neural Networks; and Predictive & Prescriptive modeling.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative & quantitative data with statistical methods (e.g. data sampling/ re-sampling, ANOVA analysis, distributions, etc).
• Apply standard processes such as CRISP-DM (business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, deployment); Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, and PyTorch; and Agile Methodologies for Business Analytics projects.
• Create and review technical design documentation, research and proposals, white papers, presentations, formal recommendations, and reports.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master's / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics.
• >3 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
• Understands complex issues and puts them in context.
• Hands-on working knowledge using Data Science and Statistical methods for AI / ML including Deep Learning methods (Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, and Generative Adversarial Networks).
• Working experience in Text Mining and Natural Language Processing.
• Programming skills with scripting languages & frameworks such as Python, R, Matlab, Scala, Java, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Familiar with microservice and/or big data technologies such as Openshift, Cloudera (CDH), Elasticsearch, and CEPH.
• Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
• Experienced in best practice adaption and external benchmarking.
• Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
