About the position

In this role you will ensure quality assurance in Asia and Australia for Upfield operations. You’ll be responsible for quality management of 3PMs, warehousing & logistics and supporting the marketing and sales teams for in market quality issues, consumer care line support (complaint reporting and analysis), on-shelf assessments/improvements and incident/issue management.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

Your capability in people skill is key in this role as well as your capability in doing quality checks.

• Initiate and drive complaint reduction projects other quality projects / initiatives
• Define and drive improvement projects for the 3PMs and distributors in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders such as Supply chain teams, sales and marketing teams in the cluster.
• Ensure compliance and roll out Upfield Quality processes and standards in the 3PMs, Warehouses/Distributors
• In case of issues - run issue reviews with involved Upfield sourcing unit/factory or 3PMs
• Participate in Risk assessment and Management with supply chain teams and R&D
• Participate at Quality and Hygiene platforms.
• Ensure that quality and food safety standards are integrated in all innovation/renovation/import&export projects including the relevant quality/food safety risk assessments

• Bachelor or master’s degree in industrial chemistry, food engineering, Food technology, Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry, Industrial chemistry and or similar area.
• Experience in Food Industry
• 7-10 years' experience in Quality, manufacturing, or R&D.
