Job Requirements :

• Independent and a good team player
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and presentational skills
• Understand legal requirements and have a full understanding of Harbour Master, Customs, Immigration and Quarantine procedures
• Be computer literate in Microsoft Word/ Excel/ Outlook/ PPT
• Require to work outside normal business hour
• Minimum 2 years working experience as shipping agency operation for international bulk carrier shipments.
• English must be fluent. Spoken and written
• Ability in mandarin (spoken and written) is an advantage
• The scope of experience may be in the field of shipping agency.

Job Responsibilities :

• Making sure vessels to have smooth operation during port call
• Send update of the latest vessels' information to every concerned parties 
• Arranging for the pilot and the tugs if necessary
• Drawing up the documents for the customs and harbour services
• Arranging for the necessary ship fresh water / provisions
• Arranging for the necessary doctor for the crew any medical assistance
• Arranging for storage bunkers if these are needed
• Arranging for the necessary repairs
• Conveying instructions to and from the ship owner
• Organizing the supply, transport and the handling of the goods
• Organizing the necessary contacts with the stevedores
• Collecting freights, cargoes
• Contacting shippers and the receivers of the goods

In the case of damage to cargo or the ship, the shipping agent also makes the necessary arrangements (at the request of the ship's master or owner) with the insurance company, and for nautical inspections and the services of experts or surveyors
