Job Description:

• Assist with the daily activities of the procurement department
• Check requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Process purchase orders and invoices ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
• Request quotes and compare prices
• Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time
• Receive goods and ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested
• Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and quantity of supplies
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Maintain accurate records and updating supplier information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 3-5 years professional experience in procurement or a similar role
• Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and maintain strict deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
