We are looking for an Account Payable Accountant who will take responsibility of the purchase to payable business process of PT Sandvik SMC.
As an Account Payable Accountant, you will be responsible of the reporting and controlling of the purchase to payable business process. You will manage the purchase order, invoice, payable/expense recognition, payment process as well as to provide forecast and financial support to Finance Manager/Business Controller.

You will also be responsible for data accuracy and completeness of payable/expense recognition and payment process.
Your Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include the below:

• Ensure the accuracy of expense and payable data entry at PT Sandvik SMC

• Manage purchase order/agreement with supplier

• Responsible for the payment forecast and estimation process

• Develop the purchase to payable business process to provide on time support for the relevant stakeholders at the business

• Prepare expense & payable reconciliation and its tax effect including good receive not invoice and payment forecast

• Provide data & business insights to Finance Manager/Business Controller

• Support the Finance Manager/Business Controller in commercial decision making and new initiatives

• Follow-up and monitor continuous improvement initiatives/programs for purchase to payable business process

• Follow-up and monitor recurring expenses and other ad hoc expenses to be used for accrual during month-end closing

• Maintain historical records of bank reconciliation and perform reconciliation of AP-related accounts

• Manage petty cash process and reporting

• Coordinate with supplier regarding purchase to payable process including statement of account

• Responsible for internal control monitoring and testing

• Liaise with external and internal auditor

Your profile
You will have Bachelors/Master's degree in accounting, finance, business economics or similar area and 3+ years experience from the field of accounting or finance.
To be successful in this role, you will be service minded, possess strong communication skills and can work independently as well as in a team and very good knowledge of Excel & good knowledge of all conventional MS Office products.
Big 4 experience would be an asset. Experience in Aurora or BPC systems (SAP/OneStream) is counted as a plus.
English will be a natural working language and other local languages would be an asset.
