A rapidly growing company engaged in the defense industry is looking for a Purchasing Engineering.

Job descriptions:

• Understand technical data and product specifications required by technicians.
• Identifying potential Suppliers, and monitoring Supplier performance.
• Researching, identifying potential Suppliers, and monitoring Supplier performance.
• Communicate the need for goods to Suppliers and evaluate Supplier options.
• Prepare purchase terms and conditions from proposals, requesting offers, to negotiating the price of goods.
• Compare and evaluate bids from vendors/suppliers as well as contract negotiations, pricing, and reporting.
• Maintain good relations with the internal project team and Suppliers.
• Check and evaluate the quality of purchased goods and address deficiencies if found.
• Ensure that all purchased products and materials meet specifications and negotiate with vendors as required.
• Collaborate with leaders in the company to understand the company's needs.
• Ensuring goods from suppliers on time and as ordered.
• Review and be responsible for the quality of goods purchased, in accordance with the terms and contracts between the Supplier and the company.
• Facilitate communication between company stakeholders, managers and other team members regarding purchasing engineers.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least an associate degree / D3, Bachelor's Degree / S1 Majoring in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Other appropriate engineering.
• Minimum GPA 3.00 (4.00 scale)
• Work experience as Procurement/ Purchasing Engineering or similar role Minimum 2 Years
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.
• Have strong analysis, attention to detail and problem solving.
• Having good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Able to speak English both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow instructions and cooperate with others.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required.
• Experience in a similar Purchasing role is preferred.
