Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, co-ordinate and manage all project materials including materials stock, inbound and outbound and assure their availability.
• Manage the process of analysis and evaluation of quotations; Turn Around Time (TAT); costing; invoices; and other technical / administrative functions; in order to ensure close support and continuous collaboration the relevant departments.
• Plan and develop SOP to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse and inventory management.
• Prepare Final Warehouse Report for project closing in order to provide an inventory correct data, work closely with Project Manager
• Proactively monitor and report on each component send for warranty, repair, replace or refurbished and effectively manage performance shortfalls in a timely manner; escalating issues to senior management where necessary.
• Ensuring the safety of staff in carry out all activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/logistics/mechanical engineering or any related field.
• Minimum 10 years of warehouse management experience with 5 years in managerial level preferably within a large mining organization as Manager Warehouse/ Sr. Superintendent Warehouse/ Sr. Advisor Warehouse.
• Excellent understanding of the mine maintenance function and procedures.
• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers of the organization from senior management to site leaders and Operations Crew, and other Stakeholder.
• Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced documentation skills with high attention to details.
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office – Words, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Internet.
