Role Objective:

The objective of this role is to ensure that equipment is correctly maintained and performs at its optimum capability and capacity. This role is also accountable for the evaluation of the effectiveness of maintenance work, doing the engineering work for simple design or modification, and ensuring that CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management System has all the capabilities needed to support maintenance activities.

Main Accountabilities:

• Manage and ensure the Operational Safety (Keselamatan Operasi/KO) management of the Electrical / Instrument Maintenance activities and its support are implemented.
• Responsible to the Technical Mine Manager (Kepala Teknik Tambang) for the safety of all mine workers who are subordinates.
• Develop, manage, apply and continuously improve fixed plant maintenance policies and procedures.
• Ensure that equipment (CHPP, Conveyor, Crushing Plant, etc.) can be operated at optimum capability and capacity by reviewing existing and history of operation and/or repairing and paretorizing problems by downtime or frequency or cost, prior to doing Total Quality Circle (PDCA Plan Do Check Action) on action plans that have to be done to solve the highest influencing factor(s) to trend down cost and MTTR and trend up PA, MTBF, and MTTFS.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) $/hr, PA, MTBF, MTTR, MTTFS, planned/unplanned ratio and their monitoring system.
• Develop and update the maintenance procedures (including PM [Preventive Maintenance], Condition Monitoring, PCR [Planned Component Replacement], and breakdown), in addition to developing and updating maintenance standards to ensure that all maintenance work is done safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Regularly audit compliance with the approved maintenance procedures. Report any deficiency to the Direct Supervisor. This accountability includes updating PM check sheet to ensure coverage of PM inspection performed by maintenance crews is adequate and updating lubrication and PM inspection sequences to reduce PM duration and increase the preciseness of PM inspection result.
• Implement Reliability Engineering Concept to define the correct maintenance strategies.
• Conduct equipment commissioning and re-commissioning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree from Mechanical / electrical / process engineering or equivalent
• 5 years experience in fixed plant maintenance
• Has an active POP certification
• Good communication skill
• Good understanding and ability to implement the RCM in Fixed Plant
• Good Knowledge of long term asset planning, monitoring, optimizing the life of the asset, and maintenance (strategy, planning and outage identification)
