Responsibilities:

• Continuous monitoring for all our resources (CPU, Ram, Disk usage).
• Establish standards and best practices for the development, operation, backup, and recovery of the database system.
• Managing data recovery & backup method.
• Responsible for providing operational database services.
• Support automated build, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Provide debugging and troubleshooting assistance to application development teams.
• Work independently to respond to and resolve Support team & Dev requests and issues.
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our Linux server, storage, and core infrastructure systems.
• Handle day-to-day operations/development as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience in cloud service management (AWS/DIGITAL OCEAN)
• Experience in environment setup and configuration on Linux
• Experience in backend infrastructure and service support (Proxy, Firewall, DNS, MQ, etc)
• Experience in building large-scale database systems
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
• Experience in Kubernetes & Docker.
• Having knowledge about replicate, backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Update SSL for domains.
• Optimize security on the server side, for example, use NGINX WAF or php-fpm socket port.
• Optimize server if needed (cost optimization as well).
• Excellent in English
• Two days a week in the office | hybrid working
