Position Overview:

The Head of IT & Business Analyst is a key leadership role responsible for defining and executing the companys technology strategy. This role involves managing the IT infrastructure and application teams while providing data analytics to the management and other departments. The ideal candidate will provide direction, support, and strategic vision to ensure that our IT systems and solutions align with business objectives and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the companys business goals and growth plans.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, including IT infrastructure and application management professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• IT Infrastructure: Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of the companys IT infrastructure, including hardware, network, and security systems.
• Application Development: Manage the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications to meet the needs of the organization, customers, and stakeholders.
• Data Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, load, and transform (ELT) data from diverse sources into the data warehouse while using that data to develop Power BI dashboards to provide the necessary analytics as needed.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT departments budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure the companys IT systems and practices comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Implement robust security measures to protect data and privacy.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to implement and support IT solutions effectively.
• Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and identifyo pportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the performance of IT initiatives, making necessary improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing IT teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
• Must have a strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or other).
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in the Retail / F&B industry is a significant advantage.
• Proven experience in data pipeline development and maintenance using SSIS.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analysis with a strong knowledge in DAX and Power Query.
• Strong knowledge about Microsoft SQL Server configuration and maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience with SSAS is a plus.
