The role

Ecommerce is creating a major disruption in online market supply chain, and brands that adapt first and seize this opportunity will reap substantial benefits. We are looking for a Head of  Retail and Operations based out of our office in Jakarta, Indonesia who can drive forward our order fulfillment and marketplace’s operational metrics as a critical part of Intrepid’s overall business. This person will manage P&L for all business models, build and maintain relationship with 3PLs logistic partner, and execute operational best practice that are aligned with our clients’ objectives and help them seize the full potential of ecommerce-driven sales.

He/She will have the opportunity to learn and grow with the local and regional team that are composed of ecommerce online commercial experts in the industry.

He/She will play a key role in collaborating with Commercial & Key Account Management teams to deliver the best of our fulfillment service, including forecasting, purchase order planning, inventory monitoring, marketplace order fulfillment process and marketplace’s operational-related program.

He/She will play a key role in collaborating with 3PL warehouse partner to deliver the best operational service that meets the high standard of Intrepid. 

He/She will also play a key role in collaborating with our Tech & Product teams in developing the most advanced ecommerce operations ad-tech platform.

Responsibilities:

• Retail and Consignment Business:
• Maintain and keep on challenging the current Retail and Consignment SOP for a continuous improvement 
• Together with Business Development team to build proposal for prospective clients and support for the operational part
• Maintain and monitor operations related P&L for order purchase, inventory monitoring and warehouse cost
• Monitor Purchase Order and Consignment Order submission to be submitted timely and accurately
• Operations and Order Fulfillment:
• Manage complex work streams between Internal team and Warehouse partner to meet marketplace’s operational metrics
• Do regular performance review with 3PL warehouse partners to maintain the service level
• Share insights on what is going on from the fulfillment side to Brand Management team so they can help to communicate it to the brands 
• Collaborate with Tech & Product team in developing proprietary operations and fulfillment report as per the Brand Management and the clients’ needs
• Cross-functional and cross-country collaboration on all projects

Must have:

• +5 years ecommerce logistic / operations experience, either working with an ecommerce platform, or an operations lead role in a leading brand / 3PL logistic
• Good with data, statistic and analytical thinking to watch the trend for forecasting purpose
• Critical thinking to keep on challenging the current process or SOP for continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of marketplace order fulfillment process
• Strong understanding of cost structure in online marketplace
• Fluent in English
• Experience in leading a team
• Strong communication & ability to proactively manage relationships
• Strong sense of ownership & result orientation
• Ability to operate independently as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
• Able to go extra mile for mega campaign period (11/11, 12/12, etc…) to ensure success of our clients
• Solid Excel / Powerpoint skills
