Job Summary

Reporting to Maintenance Manager. The main responsibilities is to manage plant reliability and maintenance expenses to approved budget plan. Scope covering maintenance in the field of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, facilities and civil work. Functionally report to Managing Director, Operation, for special tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible to the whole site Reliability program.
• Responsible to plant maintenance policy development for different classes of assets.
• Responsible to develop asset preventive and predictive maintenance plan and timeline.
• Responsible to manage the execution of preventive maintenance plan to sustain high reliability. Regular review of preventive and predictive maintenance plan to ensure their relevancy.
• Responsible to ensure spare parts availability for contingency management.
• Responsible to execute regular review of spare parts inventory to ensure the inventory supports the plant sustainability.
• Lead the maintenance team to manage breakdown event and to restore plant in the shortest time.
• As decision maker during breakdown event, advising the President Director and Production Director of restoration plan.
• Lead the maintenance team to execute root cause analysis (RCA) to formulate preventive measures for major breakdown event.
• Lead the maintenance team to execute performance improvement plan.
• As a lead during major plant turn around.
• As liaison person in charge for external technical support of vendors and supporting teams from sister companies.
• Responsible to manage maintenance repair history and expenses for decision making process.
• Responsible to develop skill enhancement program to train downline for effective maintenance.
• Responsible for precise report for maintenance performance including down time analysis, maintenance expenses, maintenance improvement plan progress etc. to superior.
• Responsible to manage annual maintenance budget plan and capex budget.
• Responsible to execute approved capex.
• As advisor to Production Director for TPM execution.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are executed in accordance to safety rules and regulations.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Success Requirements

• > 5 years of working experience in a large chemical/oleochemical manufacturing operation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Excellent knowledge of plant maintenance management and strategic planning.
• Resourceful in getting technical supports.
• Very good organization and task execution skill.
• Experience in managing pressure vessel maintenance.
• Experience in managing major plant turn around.
• Experience in the oleochemicals manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
