As the Finance & Controlling Management Trainee, you will be mainly responsible to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the systems to enable timely reporting according to the respective regulations. In this role, you will be reporting to our Finance Director and will be based in our Indonesia office.

Your role will include:

• Carry out Balance Sheet and P&L reviews in close collaboration with the GBS shared services centers
• Investigate major reporting variances and follow-up for timely resolution in line with the predefined timetable set by Corporate Reporting
• Provide regular analysis for major variances and for any other business needs
• Prepare draft reports for Fiscal Reporting: both for Statutory accounts and Group
• Reporting including support for Corporate Tax computation
• Perform troubleshooting related to General Accounting entries and involve the GBS shared services center to make the required adjustments
• Treasury / Bank Reporting: provide regular support to Treasury for payments and collections and be the main point of contact for local issue resolution activities
• Payroll support for account reconciliation
• Point of contact for the GBS shared service center teams
• Provide regular support to Site Controllers and other analysis support whenever needed
• Support annual cross-functional review of Internal controls (ICON) over financial accounting and reporting and performing spot checks
• Assist in checking compliance with internal procedures and controls
• Support local management in the development and analysis of business plans and cost savings opportunities etc.
• Participating in Finance related projects as and when needed

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting with around 3-5 years related experience
• Big4 experience is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English and Bahasa
• Ability to reach high-quality standards, pay attention to details, and to respect deadlines
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and committed to continuous personal development
• Travel mobility between Givaudan and affiliate sites and for assigned projects
• Proactive, organized, determined, enthusiastic personality
• High level of computer literacy: SAP experience, Excel, etc.
