Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers.  Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

We are presently seeking a Quality Engineer that will be responsible for coordinating customer quality assurance requirements into company quality management processes and deliverables.  Drives continual improvement, customer-focused quality partnership, and consistent compliance to ISO standard.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead group of QA inspectors to achieve certain KPI target;
• Control, sustain and improve product quality performances;
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and other department for product quality continuous improvement activity;
• Handling quality feedback and complaint from customers (including conducting Failure Analysis).
• Support ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 internal audit.
• Comply to occupational safety and health regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably from mechanical/Electronics/Physics Engineering (or other relevant field)
• Experiences in quality assurance is desirable.
• Good communication skill in English.
• Hands on experience in ISO 9001
• Working experience with ISO13485 is added advantage.
• Familiar with problem solving method (8 D, 4M, 5 Whys,)
• Good communication skill in English
