Job brief

Responsible for handling and resolving corporate applications and systems related problems, managing the issue as a primary point of contact while engaging technical resources needed to provide a solution. In addition, provide executive service to executive managers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage application support involved help desk calls on a case by case basis, includes:
  • Maintaining a knowledge base of information for the resolution and research of cases.
  • Performing as a technical SME for some applications and systems.
  • Serving as a coordination resource within Technology to provide problem resolution by engaging SME’s in the technical disciplines.
  • Maintaining case status and notes while providing appropriate communication to the affected parties.
  • Creating appropriate managerial and status reporting.
  • Manage relationships, conflicts and communication with high-level proficiency.
  • Off hours support as required. Travel to clients offices and locations in order to provide offsite support when required, including homes.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and support to executive and staff level personnel withtechnology delivery issues or usage issues.
  • Troubleshoot network as well as software and applications.
  • Serve as escalated level of support (second or third level support) for corporate applications and systems.
  • Provide feedback to technology teams on the efficacy of existing solutions and priority around existing problems.

Requirements  

  • At least 2 year(s) of supporting corporate applications and systems in a formal environment  
  • Having skill in Linux 
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.  
  • Good oral and written communication skills.  
  • Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive work environment.  
  • Ability to multitask and handle multi projects simultaneously.  
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented individual.  
  • Ability to meet deadlines.  
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
