Role and Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement and maintain the project HSE management system in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and develop control measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide HSE support and advice to the project team, including engineers, drilling and completion specialists, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for the project team and contractors.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and develop recommendations to prevent their reoccurrence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and contractors to promote HSE best practices and ensure compliance.
• Participate in HSE meetings and forums to share best practices and stay informed about regulatory developments and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management in the oil and gas industry, including experience in drilling and completion activities.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards, including local and international regulations.
• Experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems and programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong focus on safety and environmental stewardship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional HSE certifications are preferred, such as PUSDIKLAT MIGAS Supervisor Level, or equivalent.
