Responsibilities

• Ability to be a thinker and Work independently
• Needs to be a Self-starter and highly motivated participant of the team
• Passionate Java developer with proven track of software development experience in Java/Java EE/Spring/Hibernate/Webservice (SOAP, RESTful), and RDBMS (MySQL) technologies
• Exposure of Angular or React or at least native JavaScript + HTML + CSS
• Java 8 experience is mandatory
• Strong expertise in analysis, debugging and developing application.
• Exposure to Apache/Tomcat on Unix/Linux environment with shell scripting
• Proficient skills with tools used in software development lifecycle, such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, Jira, GitHub/SVN, Maven, etc
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, desire and flexibility to work as a part of a geographically diverse global team

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or any equivalent
• At least 1 2 years of experience
• Familiar with build systems such as Maven or Gradle
• Experience in Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture
• Familiarity with other JVM-based languages such as Groovy, Scala, or Kotlin will be a plus
• Familiar with modern Java Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut and Quarkus
• Experience in one or more database frameworks such as Hibernate, MyBatis, TopLink, iBATIS
• Experience in one or more Java performance tuning tools such as NetBeans profiler, JProfiler, Profiler4J, YourKit, Java Mission Control
• Experience or strong understanding in continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Sonar, Ant, SVN, GIT, JUnit
• Having Java certifications will be a plus point
