Role Overview

We are looking for:

• A new team member to provide technical service and drive the growth of our business in the region.
• Someone with interpersonal skills to engage with customers in the mining industry on a personal and professional level.
• Someone with the technical hands-on skills to promote and test Solvay products at customer sites and provide technical support and advice.
• A motivated self-starter who can work independently and within a team.

We count on you for:

• Maintaining and building relationships with customers.
• Performing laboratory tests and plant trials of Solvay Mineral Processing products.
• Statistical analysis of lab and plant data.
• Regular travel to remote customer sites throughout the region.
• Maintaining your technical knowledge.
• Providing technical advice to customers.
• Producing internal and external written reports.

You will bring:

• Qualifications in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in a related role.
• Expertise in froth flotation and flotation reagent chemistry.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
