JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for doing proforma and final costing of products in development stage until they are finalised and ready for launching/production, by coordinating with Product Development Coordinator, Sourcing, Formulator and Brand Manager for data consolidation.
Responsible for updating the costing files on a monthly basis for all ongoing products (excluding products in development stage), by coordinating with Purchasing and Production Team to ensure all items in the costing files are up-to-date.
Send a monthly report of updated final costing files, and informing the team if there is any change/no change at all to the data, in the email’s body text. The report should be circulated to Product Development Coordinator, Branch Manager, Sourcing, Formulator, Sales Manager, General Manager, Production Manager, Purchasing, and HR Manager.
Responsible in demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers and can communicate it clearly.
Attending weekly Product Development meetings to stay on top of the progress that relates to costing.
Incrementally recategorizing costing Excel sheets based on the product line segmentation (Souvenir Goods, Consumer Goods, Hospitality Goods, Export, etc).

QUALIFICATION:

Well organized
Have a good understanding of excel and work well with the Product Development Team
Purchasing in communicating and organizing updates to new and existing products.
D3/S1 degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred
Minimum 1 year experience working in cost control
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Good proficiency in English both in verbal and writing
Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads
Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
