Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express, and other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend developers, designers, product managers, QA) to develop, optimize, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs, integrating with external services and data sources when necessary.
• Optimize application performance by profiling and analyzing bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay current with the latest Node.js ecosystem developments, frameworks, and trends to drive innovation and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and server-side technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), and a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Express or other Node.js frameworks, and the ability to develop custom middleware.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with database systems (SQL or NoSQL MongoDB) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.

Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and JIRA.
